A Frisco-based development partnership is eyeing an apartment project in Melissa.

Now, Melissa Land Development LLC is planning a 330-unit apartment complex on Melissa Road just south of State Highway 121, according to planning documents filed with the state.
The $51 million rental community is set to start in March and will take two years to complete.
Dallas-based Ebarb + Guest Architecture is designing the project.
The three-story Eastwood Village apartments will include 10 buildings and a community center and pool.
The development partnership includes managers Murali Kodemala, Sreeram Bazaru and Sridhar Sannidhi.
Melissa, located north of McKinney, has seen its population almost double in the last five years.
The Dallas-Fort Worth area is the country’s fastest growing apartment market with more than 65,000 units on the way.
